BusUp, Taguspark’s partner company for corporate transport using shared buses, has launched a new service adapted to the needs of companies and employees in times of coronavirus. The service is already available for partner companies in Taguspark (Millennium BCP, Altice and Novo Banco). As of September, the network can be used by all resident companies of Taguspark. BusUp is the market leader with the most advanced digital platform for optimising and managing corporate transport services using shared buses.
In this post-lockdown situation, BusUp has launched a new special Covid-19 service that offers companies even greater safety and flexibility. On the one hand, together with the operator, it implements a series of prevention and hygiene measures that minimise the risk of contagion (mandatory use of masks and provision of alcohol gel), and also enforces a maximum of two-thirds capacity, in line with Health Authority rules. On the other, and thanks to the online booking platform and the fully electronic contactless control, the service also allows companies to minimise risks during transport to work, ensuring the traceability of a potential contagion.
During the lockdown period, BusUp conducted a survey of over 600 users of its platform. The study showed that 88% of users consider the company bus a safe – or very safe – means of transport, compared to the alternative of using a car, motorbike or public transport every day.
The shared transport service operates through theTaguspark Platform and is available to Science and Technology Park companies. BusUp offers a 100% integrated service.
The platform enables greater control, flexibility, and convenience in corporate transport for both companies and employees. It offers a unique experience for the passenger, who has access to a network of routes in real time, and through the app they can also access the GPS position of their bus, information regarding the drivers and customer support.
This flexibility allows passengers to enjoy the service according to their needs, and they can even change routes or cancel days on an ad-hoc basis. Moreover, companies have access to their own dashboards, where they can consult key indicators related to the operation and use of the corporate transport.
The pioneering companies at Taguspark for sharing the corporate transport service are Millennium BCP, Altice and Novo Banco.
The 12 routes currently available (from Lisbon – Sete Rios, Marquês de Pombal, Amoreiras, Campo Grande, Oriente and Cais do Sodré, Cacém and Oeiras) will be increased to more than 30, in order to cover a wider range of starting points and daily schedules.
