The Taguspark Incubator – City of Knowledge, installed in the largest science and technology park in Portugal, in Oeiras, has just launched a new call for start-ups in order to transform innovative projects into business realities. This action will have multi-media campaign on billboards, Spotify, press and digital. Applications are open until 31 December in Taguspark.pt. Created in 2012, this Incubator has supported more than 150 start-ups in different phases, from pre-incubation, through product development to business growth and internationalization. In the last Call, held in 2019, 25 applications were received from start-ups of various nationalities, with an increase in demand in the areas of Information Technology and Software. According to Eduardo Baptista Correia, CEO of Taguspark – Cidade do Conhecimento, “expectations are high, because we feel, through contact with companies and entrepreneurs, that there are many innovative ideas that have been postponed as a result of the challenging and unpredictable context of recent times. With this Call, we want to enhance three important clusters: sustainability (sea economy), information technologies (robotics, automation) and life sciences (health, biotechnology, pharmacy).” “The advantages for start-ups are numerous when entering this space where we create and encourage innovation and knowledge, because they can access a unique ecosystem in Portugal, which connects companies, research centers and university, allowing access to a network of networking with endless opportunities.”, adds Eduardo Baptista Correia. With creativity in charge of Media Consulting, this call will be accompanied by a multi-media campaign with presence in billboards, Spotify, press and digital. Launching the challenge to entrepreneurs: “Is this start-up ready for the takeoff?”.
