Oeiras becomes the capital of Science with the first edition of the Oeiras Valley Science Festival, in Taguspark. A unique and comprehensive event with free admission, which invites all audiences to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics in a creative, fun and critical way. The central theme is Artificial Intelligence.
Alexandre Quintanilha is the Scientific Director of the Festival and Vitor Cardoso is the curator of the event, bringing more than 80 renowned speakers. In addition, more than 50 partners have spaces and activities prepared for visitors.
Organized by the Municipality of Oeiras, it has Taguspark as its co-organizer. The Science Project (a subsidiary of The Book Company) is the promoter of the festival.
This festival invites all children, young people, families, teachers, professionals and curious people of all ages to reflect on the impact of artificial intelligence, its challenges and opportunities – because artificial intelligence is not just a theme of the future, but a reality of the present.
