Taguspark has just signed a protocol with the National Society of Fine Arts, which results in collaboration in art exhibitions and the development of artistic residencies, courses and art workshops in the City of Knowledge.
As part of this protocol, Taguspark now hosts art exhibitions at the Central Nucleus with artists proposed by the National Society of Fine Arts. Likewise, it provides an openspace space with 170 m2 for Artistic Residencies, where artists proposed by the National Society of Fine Arts can develop their artistic practice.
The protocol, which is part of the scope of the MAU – Museum of Urban Art, also includes the realization of courses (theoretical and theoretical-practical) that are programmed by the National Society of Fine Arts and taught at Taguspark – City of Knowledge. Taguspark associates and partners, including companies located in the City of Knowledge, will benefit from a discount on registration and respective tuition fees.
For Eduardo Baptista Correia, CEO of Taguspark, “Culture is a fundamental axis of Taguspark and represents a dynamic project in expansion, which works as a stimulus to the creativity and personal development of all the inhabitants of the Park. Signing this partnership with the National Society of Fine Arts is to underline this disruptive, bold and urban spirit that we live daily in this place of brilliant people”.
João Paulo de Araújo Queiroz, president of the National Society of Fine Arts, points out that “This partnership with Taguspark allows us to deepen the exchange of synergies between the two entities and creates opportunities for emerging artists.”
