What is your mission and distinctive factors?
Our mission is to simplify and lower the cost of technology adoption by companies. Providing digital business processes, based on good practices. What’s new is that these digital solutions are validated by Microsoft and available in the Office 365 digital store (appsource), in a similar way to how we consume apps on our phones (Apple Store or Google Play).Enabling organizations to consume these digital processes in their cloud, with the same security and licensing model made available by Microsoft, without having to disperse resources and information across multiple clouds.
What are the added value of being inserted in Taguspark?
We work with customers from the United States to Malaysia, and Portugal is a central location to serve the various time zones. TagusPark is located in the center of Portugal’s most populous metropolitan area, easily accessible to customers and employees directly from the motorway, has a vision of constant innovation and support to companies through incubation services and competitive rental prices, with easy access to high-speed communication lines. Access to the facilities is 24/7h with biometric access, with an electric mobility strategy aligned with ours, and close to gyms, shopping centers, beaches, sports areas, access to good schools and universities allowing a balanced and diversified standard of living.
In terms of current projects, can you highlight or reveal any innovation or new projects you are working on?
Yes, for example, for the United States we are developing innovative systems for managing the relationship between the school, students and parents. In the UAE we are developing systems for better collaboration between commercial aviation cabin crews, for one of the world’s largest airlines and in Malaysia we are providing investment analysis processes to one of the largest agri-food groups in the region. In turn we develop existing solutions that we have in online stores and that we sell to all over the world (for example for budget management, executive meeting management, vacation management, among others ) i.e. the core of our mission as a company, to provide cloud management solutions.
Can you go a little deeper into these projects?
The projects we are developing for the United States and the United Arab Emirates are of 2 natures:
a) Availability of existing solutions that we have in online stores and that we sell worldwide (e.g. for budget management, executive meeting management, vacation management, among others).
(b) innovative projects for new solutions, e.g.
As part of the Pandemic, we have developed a solution that we provide free of charge to hospitals and hospital centres to manage people’s capacity in canteens and other limited spaces with a reservation of meals and space.
Management of reducing the carbon footprint of companies, for example, in reducing travel to/from the workplace for those who have to move.
Solutions for communication and collaboration between cabin crew for airlines.
Intelligent systems of interaction with company employees to proactive alert information to expire.
Within your industry, can you underline any ongoing trends and to which you are responding?
Yes, for several years now, the information technology sector has been going through a period of labour shortages to meet all innovation needs. Large companies have launched new low code technologies to allow anyone (with training) to develop applications and automatisms within the business environment. According to leading market analysts, these technologies are expected to support 65% of total new apps for businesses as early as 2024.We have developed a step-by-step approach with Microsoft to support the adoption of low code in organizations.
